Il successo dell’evento, inserito nel quadro del contorno alla Golfo dei Poeti Cup, potrebbe infatti spingere gli organizzatori dell’Atletica Spezia Duferco a confermare la collocazione della manifestazione a inizio autunno, considerando anche quanti hanno approfittato dell’occasione per uno scampolo di vacanza.
Sul percorso principale, di 31 km per 1.850 metri, lo spagnolo Reinel Canizares Dique ha provato a bissare la vittoria dello scorso anno, trovando però un’insuperabile resistenza nell’ex azzurro Luca Carrara (Altitude Race) che in 3h10’36” ha prevalso per 10’19” su Fabrizio Ridolfi (Gs Orecchiella) e per 18’20” sull’iberico della Marciatori Antraccoli.
